Tongue scraping
Traditionally the first act of the day, before water or food. Scrape from back to front, five to seven times, then rinse. Practitioners value it for morning breath and the act of noticing — a small, quiet attention paid to the body.
We don't sell a tongue cleaner yet — any copper or stainless scraper from a pharmacy works just as well.

Water stored in copper
Water stored in copper overnight (8+ hours) takes on a faint mineral taste. The practice, known as tamra jal, has been recommended in Ayurveda for centuries. We offer bottles, cups, and a counter-top dispenser — all pure copper, all unlined.

Abhyanga · self-massage with warm oil
Warm oil, applied from crown to feet with long strokes. Traditionally done before bathing. Sesame, coconut, or brahmi — warmed gently before use, as Ayurvedic households have done for generations.
No special vessel needed — a small bowl stood in hot water warms the oil perfectly.

Lighting the diya
Brass oil lamps lit at dusk mark the shift from day to night — a visual, tactile boundary. In many Indian households they are lit every evening. Keep one on a mantle, a windowsill, or beside your reading chair.
Our brass diyas aren't in the collection yet — any small oil lamp or even a candle holds the moment.
