Set of two · Hand-hammered pure copper · Tall tapered form
Tall Copper Tumblers · Set of Two
£22.99
Pour the lassi the long way up. Drop in the ice and watch the copper frost in seconds — it takes the chill instantly and sits ice-cold in the hand from the very first sip. There's something to it: cold water from solid metal simply tastes better, and these are the glasses you'll actually look forward to reaching for.
A pair of tall, tapered tumblers in pure unlined copper. The dimpled surface runs bold at the rim and softens to a fine grain at the base — a gradient that catches the light from every angle and gives each glass a quiet bit of character. Generous height, made for the long ones: iced water through a warm afternoon, lassi with dinner, the tall pour you don't want to keep topping up.
Pure copper means a bare metal interior — no liner, nothing between the water and the cup. They're hand-hammered in India, so no two are exactly alike; the small variations are the mark of the handwork, not a fault. Solid, considered, made to be used for years rather than replaced — and handsome enough to leave out on the counter.
Sold as a pair. Ships from our UK warehouse, with free 14-day cancellation as standard — plus your full statutory rights if anything's faulty.

Care, use & questions
Everything you need to keep your copper at its best.
How do I care for my copper?
Hand-wash only, with warm water and a little washing-up liquid, then dry straight away with a soft cloth. To bring back the shine, rub gently with half a lemon dipped in salt (or a cotton cloth with a little lemon juice and salt), rinse and dry. Do not put copper in the dishwasher.
Why has the colour changed?
Pure copper naturally darkens and develops a patina over time — this is normal and purely cosmetic, not a fault. Many people love the aged look and leave it. If you prefer the bright finish, the lemon-and-salt method above restores it in a minute or two.
Can I store water in it overnight?
Yes — resting water in a copper vessel overnight is the traditional Ayurvedic practice known as tamra jal, kept for generations, and these pieces are made for exactly that. Use them for plain water only — pure, unlined copper, the traditional specification.
What should I not put in it?
Water only. Avoid acidic or fizzy drinks (citrus, vinegar, carbonated drinks) and hot liquids in the bottles and dispenser, as acidity reacts with bare copper. The mugs and tumblers are made for cold drinks.
Is the copper lined?
No — every piece is unlined, pure copper inside and out, in the traditional specification. Nothing sits between the water and the metal.
Where is it made?
Each piece is hand-hammered and finished by hand in India, so no two are exactly alike. Small variations in the hammer marks are a sign of the handwork, not a defect.
How long does delivery take, and can I return it?
We deliver across the United Kingdom from our UK warehouse — EU delivery is coming soon. If something isn’t right, you have 14 days to return it for a refund; see our Shipping & Returns page for the full details.
